Manage playbooks

A playbook is your team's library of standard positions. It is what a review checks a contract against, so keeping your playbooks in order is what makes reviews useful. You manage them in the Playbooks view of the Contract review area.

Browse the library

Select Playbooks in the command bar toggle. The library has two panes: your playbooks on the left, and the issues in the selected playbook on the right.

  1. Select a playbook on the left to list its issues on the right.
  2. Select an issue to read its content.

Until you have uploaded one, the library reads "No playbooks yet. Upload a playbook to get started."

Upload a playbook

Select Upload playbook. The window asks for a name, which is required, and for the issues the playbook should contain. There are three ways to supply them:

  • Select files — pick individual issue files. Issue files are Markdown files, so they carry the extension .md. One file holds one issue.
  • Select folder — pick a folder of issue files.
  • Create draft playbook — create a draft playbook from a source document, rather than supplying issue files yourself.

Confirm, and the playbook is created with one issue for each issue file you supplied. The library then refreshes, and the new playbook appears on the left. You can then run a contract against it.
