Manage your document tables

You can keep more than one documents table on the Documents page. Each table has its own columns, filters, sort order, and page size. Set one up for the work in front of you, and leave another as a general view of everything.

Your first table

The first time you open the Documents page for a team, Tiro Pro creates a default table called Documents for you.

Add a table

Select New documents table at the bottom of the Documents page.

You can then set the newly-added table up in place: choose its columns, apply its filters, sort it, and rename it in Table settings.

Rename a table

  1. Open the table's Table settings.
  2. Edit the Table name field.

Each table remembers its own set-up

A table's columns, column widths, filters, sort order, and page size belong to that table alone. Resize a column in one table and no other table changes.

That is what makes several tables worth having: you can leave one filtered to a matter you are working on, and another showing everything, without the two interfering.

Your tables are your own

The tables you add are yours, not the team's. A colleague on the same team does not see a table you created, and you do not see theirs.

Delete a table

  1. Open the table's Table settings.
  2. Select Delete table.
  3. Confirm.

Deleting a table does not delete any documents.
