About discussions

A discussion is a conversation with an AI agent that can read your team's documents. You ask a question in the Discussions tab, the agent answers, and you carry on from there. Each discussion is a thread of its own, kept for as long as you want it.

Where to find it

Discussions appears as a tab of its own where it is enabled for your team.

The agent reads your team's documents

The agent does not answer from general knowledge alone. It can consult the documents, collections, and workflows your team holds in Tiro Pro.

You choose what it looks at

You scope a discussion by attaching subjects to it: documents, collections, or a workflow. What you attach is what the agent consults when it answers. Each discussion keeps its own attachments, so you can run one narrowed to a single contract and another spanning a whole collection.

The agent remembers the conversation

Within a discussion the agent carries the earlier turns forward. You can refer back to a document you named or a point you made several messages ago without repeating yourself. Each discussion is separate: a new one starts with no memory of the others.

Your discussions are your own

A discussion belongs to the person who started it, in the team it was started in. Other people on your team do not see it, and it does not follow you when you switch to another team.

The reply arrives as it is written

The answer appears a piece at a time rather than landing complete, so you can start reading before the agent has finished.

An answer finishes even if you leave

Closing the tab or moving to another discussion mid-answer does not abandon the reply. The agent carries it through to the end, and it is waiting in the discussion when you come back.
